A Voice for All
Representing approximately 12,000 student families, and a community of 70,000, means that there is a beautiful- and significant- diversity of thought and opinion about everything! In decision making, I seek to first understand diverse view points, then integrate best practice and operational excellence, and finally make an informed decision in the best interest of our students!
Hope and Optimism for the Future
The pandemic has challenged public education like no other time but we will emerge stronger and better than ever!
Commitment to Diversity of Thought
Alternate view points are necessary for a healthy and productive society. Moreover, I believe that education must be non-partisan: we need ALL SIDES of the aisle to work TOGETHER for our students!
Fierce Advocacy
Wayzata students, families and staff are my top priority and I will continue to be a strong advocate for our District at the local, state and national level!
Unwavering Work Ethic
I step up, show up, and give 100%! My colleagues know they can count on me!
A Commitment to Relationships
I build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders- including city officials, legislators, business partners, and other community leaders so we can WORK TOGETHER for our students!
Experience and Understanding
Board work requires a complex knowledge base!! Now more than ever, we need leaders who understand our educational systems, Board governance, and how to sustain fiscal responsibility and academic excellence.
Unity
We may not always agree, but I commit to listening, seeking understanding, and joining with you to ALWAYS do what is BEST FOR STUDENTS!
